via V.P. Giffoni - Giffoni Valle Piana (SA)

The building described below is a rural house located in Giffoni Valle Piana, near the city of Salerno, and was built in the 17th century by local worker, as can be deducted from the construction analogy with other local artefacts. The structure is in continuous masonry, with a ceiling made of wooden beams. The floor is made of stones and the roof is double pitched with a wood structure and roman roof tiles. It has an almost rectangular layout and consists of the ground floor only. Since this house is still in use, it is well-preserved.
