Villa Pignatelli
Riviera di Chiaia, 200 - Napoli (NA)
Manager: Dott.ssa Denise Maria Pagano
The Villa was designed in 1826, by the architect Pietro Valente, for the Acton family. It is an exemple of neoclassical architecture. The Villa was purchased in 1841 by the Rothschild bankers, then in 1867 it was acquired by the Pignatelli family and finally, in 1955, it was sold to the State. Over time, the transfer of ownership changed its interior and furnishings, giving to the Villa its current name, and its celebrity, of house-museum. In the ex-stables is located the Museum of the Carriages.
